What stays on your device

All information you enter — players, squads, rotations, match history, scores, and reports — is stored locally on your device only. There is no server, no account, and no sign-up.

What we don't do

  • We don't collect, transmit, or have access to your squad, player, rotation, or match data — that never leaves your device.
  • We don't sell your data, and we don't require or use an account, so there's no password or profile tied to you.
  • If ads are shown, we don't target them to, or collect analytics from, children — see Children's privacy below.

The app does not currently use analytics or show ads, but may add Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob in a future update, both described in detail next. If added, these would handle their own limited, non-personal technical data; they would never see anything you type into the app.

Advertising

Vicki Football/Soccer Manager does not currently show ads. We may introduce ads in a future update, served through Google AdMob, to help keep the app free to use. This section describes how that would work if and when ads are enabled, and this page will be updated if that happens.

To show ads, AdMob's software development kit (SDK) can collect technical and device-level information such as your advertising identifier, general device information, approximate (IP-based) location, and ad interaction data (what's shown, clicked, or dismissed). This data would be collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is never combined with anything you enter into the app.

Where required — for example, in the EEA, UK, and other regions with consent laws — you would see a consent prompt before any personalized ads are shown, and on iOS you would see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking whether the app can track you for ad purposes. You would be able to decline either prompt and still use the app; you'd simply see non-personalized, contextual ads instead. You can also review or reset your device's ad settings at any time in your phone's system privacy settings.

If ads are introduced, a one-time Remove Ads purchase is planned to be available from the Info tab for anyone who'd prefer not to see them.

See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites and apps for details on AdMob's own data practices.

Analytics and crash reporting

We may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (both Google services) to understand product usage — things like which screens are opened, which buttons are tapped, whether a purchase flow was completed, and technical crash diagnostics if the app fails. These events are tied to an anonymous device/install identifier, not your name, email, or any player or match data. See Google's Firebase privacy and security policy for details.

In-app purchases

Vicki Football/Soccer Manager offers a one-time Multi-Team & Data Transfer purchase, and plans to offer a Remove Ads purchase if and when ads are introduced — both handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems. We never see or store your payment details; purchases are verified on your device through the store's billing library, and your unlocked status is then remembered locally on that device.

Sharing is always your choice

Features like Export Data, Share Match Report, and Send Debug Report hand a file to your device's standard share sheet. You choose the recipient — email, Messages, Files, AirDrop, etc. The app itself never sends this data anywhere on its own.

A debug report contains technical diagnostic information only — things like app version, device model, and a local error log — never your squad, match, or player data.

Data retention and deletion

Your squad, player, rotation, and match data lives only on your device, and you're always in full control of it. Delete a player, a match, or your whole team from within the app at any time, or remove all app data at once by uninstalling it or clearing the app's storage in your device settings. We hold none of it on any server, so there's nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf.

If analytics or ads are introduced in the future, those identifiers would be managed separately by Google and your device, not by the app — you'd be able to reset or limit them any time through your phone's privacy settings.

Children's privacy

Vicki Football/Soccer Manager is designed for coaches and team managers, not for direct use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If ads are introduced, they will be requested in a non-child-directed setting from AdMob, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Your squad and match data is never collected by us regardless of who it describes.

Your privacy rights

Your squad, player, rotation, and match data has never left your device, so requests for access, correction, deletion, or portability under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA are already satisfied — you can view, edit, export, or delete that data yourself at any time using the app's own screens and the Export Data feature.

If AdMob or Firebase are added in the future, you'll be able to limit ad personalization and analytics through your device's privacy settings, or by declining the consent and tracking prompts described above. For any other request related to those services, contact us below and we'll help direct it appropriately.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — a new service is added or an existing one changes how it works — this page will be updated first, and the in-app data practices will always match what's described here.
